This concept works because the personal signal is baked into the concept itself, so even a simple execution reads as thought-through. It also helps that it works partly because it was not predicted; the reveal does a lot of the emotional lifting. Execution is light — most of the work happens before the giving, which keeps the focus on the gesture itself.

- Choose the outtake, not the posed one
- Write the date on the mount in pencil
- Add a tiny second frame of the version they approved
